I just wanted to be sure why it wasn't working. But I will use EmuDeck for the time being. I tried RetroArch and understand it isn't supported atm. I understand what you're saying, I understand you can use EmuDeck or the RetroArch core individually. Publicado originalmente por DeadSonRisingxD: This seems to be the first thing most people should try. Occasionally the dev builds include changes that break some games, but generally speaking those are easily fixed by downloading a build slightly older or a bit newer. It isn't that RetroArch is lacking a feature, it is that the emu community hasn't built RetroArch cores for every emulator. The latest development builds of PCSX2 seem to fix many problems people have. As of December 2010 the current version is 0.10.0 and is fully working. It is written by the plugin author ChickenLiver who keeps the official thread updated with the most recent version of the plugin. You aren't going to get the RetroArch menu/overlay for the emulators that are not running via a RetroArch core. LilyPad is a Windows gamepad plugin for the PCSX2 emulator. The PCSX2 core for RetroArch is still in beta support and has known issues. I'm asking for the ability to find hotkeys for saving/loading each s. It should be using the standalone flatpak for the PCSX2 emulator. Description I know there's the default hotkeys we can customizer currently for flipping through save states and loading. It seems like you are still missing the point that if you used EmuDeck to do the installations for your emulators, then it shouldn't be using RetroArch for the PS2 emulation. Before starting the PCSX2 BIOS download process, you should download the PCSX2 emulator. The player does not need to find a game save point or wait for a lull in the action - a single hotkey press is all it takes to trigger the creation of a savestate. From what I can tell, RetroArch is lacking this feature which am surprised at, would just be a much nicer experience with the UI in game, for the time being I will work out the HotKeys, but thank you for your input. Savestates can be made at nearly any point in a game even where saving is traditionally unavailable, like during cutscenes, in the middle of a battle in progress, etc. Theres another problem right now, PCSX2s core (The piece of Retroarch that lets it emulate the system) doesnt really work well/has some issues, so theyre currently using a standalone emulator. Currently, PSCX2 employs F1 and F3 as save state and load state respectively. Sorry I had planned on responding after eating, but life. PCSX2 implemented that as well as the cheevos library which now allows them to write achievements. 3) Now that pcsx2 is added to your game library, open its properties. ![]() ![]() Publicado originalmente por Taktloss:Gonna repeat myself but as said PCSX2 which comes with EmuDeck does use the standalone Version and not some RetroArch Core so it is its own thing It is important that you add pscx2.exe this way (rather than picking it from the list) so you can add more shortcuts later on.
